1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GoGetr, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

GoGetr is a platform that connects homeowners with licensed contractors through a reverse auction system. Homeowners post jobs, contractors submit bids, and homeowners accept the best offer.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate information
• Contractors must have valid licenses and insurance
• You may not have been previously banned from the platform

4. User Accounts

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Fees and Payments

For Homeowners

• Posting jobs is free
• 3% service fee (minimum $5) charged on completed jobs
• Payment held in escrow until job completion

For Contractors

• 15% commission on jobs won (12% for Professional tier)
• Commission deducted before payout
• Payouts processed within 2–3 business days

6. User Conduct

Prohibited activities include:

• Fraudulent or misleading information
• Harassment, abuse, or discrimination
• Attempting to bypass the platform or make direct payments
• Posting fake jobs or bids
• Spamming or automated bidding
• Sharing login credentials

7. Contractor Responsibilities

• Maintain valid licenses and insurance
• Provide accurate bids and complete work professionally
• Arrive on time and communicate with customers
• Complete work according to job description

8. Homeowner Responsibilities

• Provide accurate job descriptions
• Be present or available during work
• Pay for completed work promptly
• Treat contractors with respect

9. Disputes and Refunds

• Contact GoGetr support within 48 hours of job completion
• Provide evidence (photos, messages, etc.)
• GoGetr will mediate and make a final decision
• Refunds issued at GoGetr's discretion

10. Intellectual Property

GoGetr and its content are owned by GoGetr. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our trademarks without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

GoGetr is a platform connecting users. We do not employ contractors, guarantee job quality, assume liability for contractor actions, or guarantee bid accuracy.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GOGETR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GoGetr harmless from any claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

13. Privacy

Your use of GoGetr is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
