I had seen this problem from both sides. While studying at Virginia Tech, I took on a range of local service jobs in the Northern Virginia area. I experienced firsthand how inefficient the process was, not just for homeowners struggling to find reliable help, but for skilled workers trying to find consistent, quality opportunities. Both sides were losing.
GoGetr was built to fix that. We created a reverse auction model where verified contractors compete in real time for your job. You see every bid, every rating, and every availability window, and you choose the best offer without making a single cold call.
